Preparation before installation
Tile and flooring should not hide an unsuitable surface. We review flatness, movement, damage, moisture concerns and transitions before installation. Required work may include patching, underlayment, backer board, primer, crack treatment or limited leveling based on the selected system.
Tile layout and finished edges
Tile size, joint placement, pattern, trim profile and room dimensions affect the final appearance. Planning the starting point and visible cuts before setting begins produces a cleaner installation.
Flooring transitions and trim
Finished height must work with adjacent flooring, doors, casings, baseboards, quarter round, toilet flanges and appliances. These conditions are reviewed so necessary transition or trim work can be included.

We install bathroom tile, shower tile, backsplashes, floor tile and interior flooring in Elk Grove Village and nearby Chicago suburbs.
